Part 3 - Guest Agreement Form 2023

Welcome to Frankston Winter Shelter. We hope that you will enjoy your time with us and get some rest and refreshment.

We are committed to providing our guests with an evening meal, a bed, a light breakfast and the opportunity to enjoy hospitality and community.
We want your stay to be a safe and positive experience. As a guest of the Shelter, we ask that you treat volunteers and other guests with respect.
Any inappropriate behaviour may result in you being asked to leave the Shelter. Volunteers have been instructed not to hand out money, home or email addresses, private telephone numbers or other personal information, so please do not ask.  You are not required to pay for your stay with us, however it is expected that you will contribute to the operation of this Shelter by helping out with light duties eg. setting and clearing tables, washing up, setting up and taking down beds etc.

To make Frankston Winter Shelter a safe place for everyone, we expect:
1. Guests will not be intoxicated or substance affected on arrival at the Shelter.
2. Guests will only smoke tobacco in designated smoking areas.
3. Guests will store and manage their own prescription medication in accordance with their doctor’s instructions. Guests will not give their prescription medication to any other guest.
4. Guests will not use or be in the possession of illicit drugs or substances.
5. Guests will not consume or be in possession of alcohol.
6. Guests will not be in possession of any type of offensive weapons.
7. Guests will not be violent, aggressive, or disruptive or use offensive language.
8. Guests with cars will not be allowed to access their vehicles once admitted and signed in to the Shelter. Guests who contravene any of the above may be denied entrance, asked to leave by the Venue Coordinator, be subject to a ban or permanent disqualification at the discretion of the Project Coordinator.

Guests will be permitted to leave at any time, however they will need to take all belongings, as they will not be permitted back into the shelter after leaving.

I give permission to Frankston Winter Shelter to contact me in the future after my stay in the Shelter.
I understand that once I have entered the Shelter, I will not be able to access my car until I leave the next morning. 
If I choose to access my car, I understand that this will mean that I am leaving for the night.
In signing this agreement, you consent to having your photograph taken and kept on file.
