Kingdom People Build the Church

Today we discussed the following in PenCC Kids;

* The Church is not a building, it’s people.

* Kingdom people build the Church through helping others

* Barnabas was a kingdom person who built the church through being generous and leading others to Jesus

PLAYTIME LEARNING ACTIVITY TO DO AT HOME

Activity: Church Prayer Supplies needed:

• Paper

• Pencil or crayon

Take a sheet of paper and trace around your hand shape. On each finger write the name of someone in your church that you can pray for. Just like all the parts of a body work together, we all have a part to play in the Church, it takes everyone doing their part.

Each day this week pray for one of the people you’ve written on the hand shape.

Dear God, Thank You that You call us to help build Your Church. Show us how we can be kingdom people who love and care for others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
